IKIES Santorini Traditional Houses is a special type of hotel. Only a 15-minute walk brings you to the heart of Oia.

IKIES Santorini was founded in 1993 at this exceptional location, but integrated its elegant design and intimate personalized service in 2003 resulting in a rare blend of luxury, elegance and top-notch service.

We absolutely loved the IKIES Santorini Winemaker’s House! As winelovers, we felt like coming home immediately. It is one of the two honeymoon suites and features a truly secluded terrace and uninterrupted cinematic views of the Aegean. The private hot-tub with its spacious deck and the futon offer endless hours of outdoors relaxation and romance. The cave-like bedroom with the king size bed and ensuite dressing area is carved into the volcanic rock at the rear of the house. The separate living area is plushly furnished with a comfortable sofa, armchairs, stools and a dining table. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower, a Jacuzzi bathtub with caldera view, and (I’m not kidding you!) a spacious steam room.

The spacious terraces are ideal for soaking up the sun and letting the day slip by with a book in your hand. The suites at IKIES Santorini offer the perfect setting for a romantic escape! Thanks to excellent room service, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the terrace, and watched the sun set sipping glass of Assyrtiko wine (indigenous white grape variety). I can assure you: for a moment the world around you disappears!
