You will be entering the hotel not through a reception but you will be welcomed directly in The Living, this is the beating heart of the hotel that is also used as a restaurant and wine bar where the warmth of a crackling fire will make you feel at home in a second.
The Living is a wine bar & lounge that reflects the Pillows Grand Hotel place Rouppe philosophy to its core. A warm welcome and relaxation in the lounge and food and drinks in the Domestic Bar and Kitchen run seamlessly into each other. Furthermore, the characteristic style of the interior stands out: modest chic materials, cosy seating areas and a gorgeous fireplace. It’s a feel good place where you can enjoy a good glass of wine, a quick lunch or a local speciality.

Every week from Monday till Thursday Pillows Grand Hotel Place Rouppe organizes Table d’hôtes where you can take place around a big table where the chef indulges you with delicious dishes prepared with daily fresh and regional products. On the menu: dishes to share, mainly with vegetables and fruits from the region but with a wink to the cosmopolitan city of Brussels. The kitchen is being led by chef Trung HoangDat. After his education at the Spermalie hotel school in Bruges, this West-Flemish chef earned his stripes at Alain Ducasse’s in The Dorchester (three Michelin stars) in London, Va Doux Vent (one Michelin star) in Uccle and La Durée (two Michelin stars) in Izegem.
