There is so much to share about this small island in the Caribbean that it is impossible to have it all written down in one article. During this one-week trip, I took so many pictures that I felt like sharing them. Even though these pictures are just a fraction of the content we have made during this trip, I would not want to keep them for myself. Have a look at the award-winning blog Soms Ook Heimwee for more beautiful pictures and a juicy story (in Dutch).

There is one thing in particular that you can’t miss when you are on the island. The sunset at Goto Meer is purely magical! The lake is surrounded by mountains and the reflection of the colors in the lake is just magical. An even bigger surprise is that no one passes here in the late afternoon. I went twice to this spot to shoot content, yet only one car passed by during the hours we were waiting for the sun to set. You’ll have flamingos flying around and if you wait patiently they will walk right next to you. You won’t be disappointed!
