Mini Bar is José Avillez’s first gourmet bar. José Avillez is considered one of the great Portuguese chefs and stands out due to his willingness to go one step further. At Mini Bar, you can expect fine dining with a twist in a bistronomic environment.  A gourmet restaurant in a theatre-inspired decor sets the mood right for a mash-up of fine dining and nightlife. Let the spectacle begin!

At Mini Bar, nothing is what it seems. The two menus in Avillez’ bar offer you a chance to experience entertainment as it should be: a perfect balance between food and amusement. Besides these two tasting menus, there is also a menu divided into several “Acts”, each course expressing different tastes. At Mini Bar you can expect creativity and a lot of fun!

What can you expect?

Green apple Margaritas and Caipirinhas – not to drink, but to eat. Foie gras Ferrero Rocher bonbon. A ceviche of Algarve prawns served on a lime slice with a beetroot sphere and fried corn topping. Roasted chicken in a small crispy base, full of flavor, with smoked cottage cheese cream. Potatoes that are a big deal because they’re small. Or the JAburger, a delicious hamburger served on an ultra-light brioche that melts in your mouth. Towards the end of the dinner, you can enjoy the raspberry yogurt mascarpone and meringue served in a yogurt sealed cup and don’t forget to taste the lemon-lime globe, a sorbet sphere filled with fresh childhood memories.

Every day, from 7.00 pm onward, in a comfortable and intimate atmosphere, José Avillez offers a Drinks Menu with Special Cocktails, Wines, Craft Beers and more. Enjoy this gastronomic experiences full of flavor. Every Friday and Saturday, from 11 pm onward, a DJ brightens up the evening with some great grooves.
