Founded in 1995 and since then in private ownership, the Savoy Hotel Yangon is a colonial boutique hotel. The hotel is located in the picturesque area of Yangon, overlooking the Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar’s “twinkling wonder” and the nearby People’s Park. Moreover, it takes only ten minutes by car from the city center and 20 minutes to the International Airport.

Yangon is Myanmar’s most important city from a commercial and economic point of view. It used to be the country’s capital until 2005, when the greenfield site Naypyidaw received the honor.
